This weekend we are headed out into the wilderness with a big group of friends to go camping in Yosemite.  It’s supposed to be hot, so I’m looking forward to swimming in the river, seeing half dome, and sitting out until late around the campfire.

I went with my family when I was young, but years passed before I went up again.  It really is one of the most beautiful, breathtaking places.  I forget how lucky we are to live in California where the beach is a 10 minute drive, the wine country is an hour away, and Yosemite and Tahoe are both easy weekend trips.
